For this service, you will be working with Dr. Erin Krauskopf. 

A neuropsychological assessment involves comprehensive testing designed to identify your child’s strengths and weaknesses and locate their position on the developmental curve. Dr. Krauskopf uses paper-and-pencil testing as a tool to tap into your child’s neural networks. Their pattern of performance on the tests helps her identify the correct diagnosis or diagnoses for your child. The assessment will span your child’s cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and social skills. This allows Dr. Krauskopf to develop a comprehensive picture of their needs and a roadmap to encourage emotional growth and skill development.

Intake

During the intake session, the focus is on gathering information about your child’s development. We will discuss your concerns, parenting struggles, assessment goals, and the change you are hoping to see as a result of this process.

Testing

During the testing session we will conduct paper-and-pencil and computerized testing with your child. All testing is standardized, which allows us to determine where your child is on the developmental curve for a specific skill or ability.

Feedback

During the feedback session we will review the results of your child’s testing and clearly outline their diagnostic picture. We will talk in-depth about each diagnosis (if there are multiple) so that you feel confident in understanding what it means and what to do about it.
